Founded in 1963 as Florida Technological University to support the nearby space program, UCF has grown up alongside Orlando into one of the largest universities in the country. The Orlando features an off-white cotton canvas crown and bill with a black rope on a 5-panel unstructured rope hat, finished with black 3D embroidered "Knights" script across the front.
